100 Women Who Give a Hoot CHD Nominations

One of the most rewarding parts of being a Hoot member is discovering local nonprofits doing incredible work right here in our community.

As an active CHD Hoot member, you may nominate up to three eligible nonprofits each calendar year for consideration. Many of the organizations we've supported over the years were introduced to Hoot by members who simply wanted to shine a light on a cause they care deeply about.

A Legacy of Local Impact

Since 2018, Hoot members have introduced dozens of inspiring nonprofits to our chapter. Each one has shared its mission, its story, and the impact it's making throughout our community.

Whether they ultimately received our collective gift or simply had the opportunity to share their work, every presenter has helped us become more connected to the needs, and the incredible people serving Chapel Hill, Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Alamance counties.
