Charity Winner... Orange County Literacy Council!
Congratulations to Orange County Literacy Council! We are confident tha
our donation will positively impact their mission and help efforts
to double the number of Orange County adults you provide with a
brighter futures through improved reading skills!

who also offered presentations on their important work in serving the community.

Charity Winner... Independent Animal Rescue
Congratulations Independent Animal Rescue. Their mission is to rescue and care
for cats and dogs in need through adoption, spay and neuter, and community education.
They are run primarily by volunteers who commit their time to helping
homeless animals and keeping support programs functioning.

OTHER CHARITIES WHO PRESENTED THIS QUARTER WERE...
Art Therapy Institute: Their mission is to advance the well-being and mental health
of diverse communities through accessible, strengths-based, culturally responsive
art therapy, education, and research. And El Centro Hispano: They are the largest Latino-led
and Latino-serving organization in the State. Since1992 their work has
aimed to strengthen the community, build bridges,and advocate for equity and inclusion.

Charity Winner... Families Moving Forward!
Congratulations to Families Moving Forward! Since 2016 they have been helping
Durham families find their way home. They provide families in a temporary
crisis of homelessness with a stable, safe, and loving environment. They offer
temporary housing, case management, skills, education, and connection
to community resources for parents and their children.

OTHER CHARITIES WHO PRESENTED THIS QUARTER WERE...
It was wonderful to also hear from both the Reintegration Support Network
and the Ronald McDonald House. We appreciate the time and energy they
gave to sharing their stories and needs. They both are truly doing amazing work in the community!
