A Lotta Love is dedicated to restoring dignity and hope for those experiencing homelessness. They transform spaces at shelters, crisis centers, and children’s homes by using a trauma-informed design model, turning bare institutional rooms into safe, welcoming, and comforting environments where individuals and families feel more than just housed – they feel safe, valued, and supported. 

 

Thank You to our Runners-Up Charities that walked away with funding as well:

 

EMPOWERment Inc spoke about their efforts to address the local housing crisis
and help individuals achieve housing stability and economic self-sufficiency.

 

Exchange Family Center showcased their mission to make children's lives better
by supporting the caring adults they rely on through proven therapy and coaching.

Charity Winner... HEARTS (Helping Each Adolescent Reach Their Spark)

 

 

More than 8,000 adolescent parents (ages 13-22) reside in the state of North Carolina. H.E.A.R.T.S. exists to

cultivate the development and success of adolescent parents, helping them transition from poverty to

sustainability. They educate, connect, and empower!

expansive people via housing and employment and to UCAN ((Urban Community AgriNomics) for showcasing

your mission is to increase food security and provide access to open green spaces for better health and wellbeing.

Charity Winner... Chatham Arts Council

 

  
Did you know? Among Chatham middle school students,1 in 4 report seriously considering suicide.

Chatham only has just 1 mental health professional for every628 residents. Chatham Arts Council said

they cannot fix all that, but they can definitely help. They hope to reach every single fifth-grader, every

single seventh-grader, and eventually every single tenth-grader in the county—that’s almost 3,000 kids

every year. Saving Lives Through The Arts!
