Whoo-hoo our Q1 Giving Event on February 3rd was a success!
 

And the winner was....

 

 

 

Club Nova is an intentional community that provides opportunities for individuals living with serious mental illness to lead meaningful lives of their choice in the community. Members and staff work together as colleagues to directly address the risks of serious mental illness and improve the health, education, housing, economic stability, and quality of life of each member. They plan to use Hoot's collective funding to strengthen their emergency response (equipment, supplies, and a generator) to ensure safety and wellbeing of our members.

 

 

Thank you also to Note in the Pocket, a Triangle-wide nonprofit that specializes in providing quality clothing, meeting this urgent need so children can fully participate in everyday life and learning and to Second Bloom of Chatham, who provide comprehensive response and support services to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault and operate a thrift shop in Pittsboro to support survivors.

But when 100 people donate $100 at the same time, they raise $10,000 to support a worthy cause. That’s REAL impact. And it takes only an hour, once a quarter!
